We work with an amazing team in Spain. Besides our hosts, we have dedicated members who contribute to an unforgettable experience. One of them is Tiziana Santi, our incredible sound chef! She not only prepares the food but also creates stunning sound journeys to make your retreat even more special.

We have worked for many years with Fali, who arranges all transfers, ensuring a hassle-free journey to and from the retreat location. We also have a team of various massage therapists and healers offering treatments like reiki, pranic, chakra healing, and theta healing. They will help you relax and enjoy your 6-day retreat to the fullest.

Ilse-Marie is the founder of House Of InnerPower (and Viva La Vida) and creator of the Yoga Nidra RadiantPeace method.

Ilse-Marie has been practicing yoga & meditation for 20 years and has attended numerous courses, trainings, and workshops in mindset, coaching, breathwork, yoga, and meditation over the past 10 years. She is proficient in various yoga styles and has created her own “Innerpower Yoga” by combining elements from different yoga styles and other disciplines.

She teaches Yin & Restorative Yoga, Vinyasa, Flow, Kundalini, and Hatha Yoga. She is an experienced meditation and breathwork instructor and is also skilled in Qigong and energy work.

Ilse-Marie teaches classes and courses in three languages to beginners and advanced practitioners. She also provides continuing education for trainers, yoga teachers, coaches, medical professionals, and therapists, and conducts lectures and workshops in the corporate world.

She organizes international retreats, further education, trainings, and courses, and offers (master)classes and workshops.

Wonderful Yoga Lessons

In May, I attended Ilse’s yoga retreat. I needed peace, time for myself, and was looking for new, positive energy. I achieved all of this with the help of Ilse, my fellow participants, and Alejandro.

It felt like a gift! The week was truly amazing.

The location is stunning, in the mountains with beautiful views. The accommodation is fantastic, authentic, with breathtaking views.

We were treated to delicious meals; it was always a delight to see what tasty dishes were prepared for us. Healthy and full of different flavors.

The program was perfect. Lots of variety with different types of yoga, in various beautiful locations (in the gardens, on the beach, on the mountain, and in the old mill), a sound bowl session, a hike, a cooking workshop, and a massage. There was also time each day for yourself.

It was also very special to see how easily connections were made within the group and how quickly everyone opened up. There was no pressure, if you didn’t feel like talking and wanted to retreat, that was perfectly fine.

I Will Definitely Join Again!

As an entrepreneur, I was fully absorbed in the daily grind.

I wanted to find peace again and was very interested in yoga and meditation. What better way to get to know yoga and meditation than under the Spanish sun?

From the moment I arrived at the beautiful location, it felt like coming home. A place with all the comforts, beautiful cozy rooms, lovely gardens, and a delightful pool. And what a setting; the most beautiful views of Andalusia!

The Atmosphere is Wonderful

Without any prior experience or knowledge, I got on a plane to Spain, and I have not regretted it for a second. The surroundings are beautiful, the food delicious, and the program is accessible for all levels.

Cooking Workshop

Together with our chef, we have put together a special cooking workshop. You will learn to make the most delicious vegetable and fruit pâtés.

Unique Hike

Silent Walk

The area is perfect for hiking, and if you do it in silence, you will enjoy it even more intensely. The sounds of nature are beautiful. For anyone who wants to experience a beautiful walk in complete peace, we organize this silent walk. During the walk, we will also do meditations and yoga exercises.

BONUS: SOUND JOURNEY/SOUND BATH

You can participate in a very special sound journey with Tibetan and crystal bowls. During the session, you will learn more about the sounds, the different types of bowls, the gong, and other instruments. Conducted by our Sound Chef Tiziana Santi.

LOCATION SPAIN: EL CAÑUELO

Stay in a beautiful small white village with stunning views of the lake and sea.

Experience the pure Andalusian life during your stay in a charming small white village, surrounded by enchanting views of the lake and sea.

The small whitewashed houses and casitas are located in a picturesque hamlet with a rustic bar and a pool on the premises. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of birds and the lush greenery of bougainvillea, this place offers breathtaking views that you won’t forget soon.

The road to the hamlet El Cañuelo is a steep climb through olive groves, but the view you get in return is priceless. High in the mountains, with an unobstructed view of the sea, it is a wonderful place to relax. The cute holiday homes with their charming terraces blend seamlessly into the traditional village.

The quaint houses are not luxurious, but El Cañuelo is as authentically Andalusian as it gets. It has an irresistible charm that grabs you immediately. Step outside, and you enter a world full of singing birds, colorful bougainvillea, and warm sunshine. Explore the village path, hike, or simply enjoy the spectacular view from your own terrace.

Swimming Pool

The pool, locally known as ‘Mickey Mouse’ due to its shape, is 7 x 7 meters with two small ‘ears,’ one with a depth of 90 cm and the other about 15 cm. The main pool is 2 meters deep at its deepest point.

The bar and location have WIFI.

The Yoga Room

Our accommodation has a beautifully renovated Yoga Shala. It is a space with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. Additionally, there are various platforms and terraces where we can practice yoga outdoors in good weather. This way, you can enjoy your yoga sessions in an inspiring and natural environment and experience the positive effects of the exercises even more.

We deliberately choose to work with small groups, with 10-15 participants depending on room arrangements.

What kind of people come to our retreats?

Our participants are diverse and vary per group. We welcome men and women of different ages and backgrounds. Most people come alone, but we also have friends or family members who join together.

We notice that each group quickly connects upon arrival, creating a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful conversations during the retreat. Many groups stay in touch even after the retreat. But there is also the freedom to retreat to one of the beautiful spots in the tropical gardens.

Our activities are all voluntary, so you can decide what you want to do. The most important thing is that you enjoy this beautiful place in Andalusia and don’t have to do anything.

Single room with shared or private bathroom: €1350

We have several houses available. Houses vary in size, with rooms ranging from 1, 2, 3, to 4 bedrooms and 1 or more bathrooms depending on the size of the house. Most houses have a shared bathroom for every two rooms.

They all have a patio/terrace, living room, and kitchen.

Terms and Conditions

The following conditions apply to reservations made directly with us.

Payment Terms

We ask for a deposit of €300 at the time of booking. You can also pay the full amount at once. After receiving the deposit, your reservation is confirmed. The remaining amount can be paid 6 weeks before the retreat starts.

We recommend taking out travel and cancellation insurance.

By booking, you agree to our General Terms and Conditions.

Retreat Language

The language of the classes and sessions will be in Dutch or English, depending on the group composition.

Tickets & Transfers

The airport to fly to is Malaga Airport.

Many airlines fly to Malaga, such as KLM, Transavia, Ryanair, and Vueling.

Arrival flight: You can book a flight that arrives on the morning of the start date (best to arrive before 12:00 PM) and arrange the group transfer through us.

Return flight: You can fly back from around 3:30 PM if you want to join the group transfer. 

Shared transfer: Pickup and drop-off from the airport is possible with the shared transfer service (fixed time) or with a private taxi. You can also be picked up or dropped off in Malaga city center (Plaza Marina). The shared transfer is €35 per person for a one-way transfer (€70 for a round trip) when traveling with the group.

A private transfer/taxi is approximately €100 per person for a one-way trip.

You can be picked up or dropped off at Malaga Airport or Malaga city center (Plaza Marina).

The shared transfer departs from the airport between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM on the start day to the finca. The exact time depends on the flights of the participants; we try to schedule it so that as many participants as possible can use the shared transfer (several flights arrive in the morning between 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM).

On the last day, a shared transfer leaves after brunch/lunch (12:00 PM) to accommodate flights in the late afternoon. 

We highly recommend booking a day in Malaga before or after the retreat. It’s a super relaxing city close to the beach. Many participants do this. You can also be picked up or dropped off in Malaga city center.

Bring comfortable (sports) clothing and good sports or hiking shoes.
