Then this RadiantPeace Yoga Nidra training is for you! This course will give you a solid foundation of the theory and methodology behind Yoga Nidra.

Our training will give you a clear understanding of the healing power of Yoga Nidra, both to deepen your own knowledge and to share it with your (future) students or clients.

During the training we will discuss how Yoga Nidra works in your brain and on deep energetic levels. You will learn how to use Yoga Nidra to quiet your mind and bring your emotions more into balance. In addition, you will learn how to break and reprogram existing ingrained thought patterns.

During the training we practice complementary breathing techniques, energy tools and yoga postures that you can combine with Yoga Nidra. You will also do additional meditations and there are a number of special workshops

RadiantPeace Method: from doing to being

The practice of Yoga Nidra is as old as the practice of yoga itself. It goes back thousands of years and can be found in the wisdom teachings of the Upanishads, classical yoga and the Tantric tradition.

Ilse-Marie has studied, experienced and taught various forms of Yoga Nidra over the years. She has drawn inspiration from both traditional and modern schools of Yoga Nidra, including the Yoga Nidra teachings of Swami Rama & Swami Satyananda and the more modern schools of iRest by Richard Miller and the Amrit (I am) method.

Based on her own experience, research and feedback from her students, Ilse-Marie has put together the RadiantPeace™ method. I discovered Yoga Nidra over 10 years ago and it has been a regular part of my own yoga practice ever since. I conduct workshops around Yoga Nidra and teach our students more about it during our Yoga Teacher programs. It has also been a popular component at my regular classes and during our international retreats we organize for many years.

I have done a lot of research on Yoga Nidra over the past few years and have experienced and learned the different forms of Yoga Nidra.

My name is Lieke Onstein and I work as an energetic and body-oriented therapist.

Where today’s world teaches us to look for the reasons outside ourselves, I believe the answers always come from within. My mission is for us to remember that everything we need and everything we are looking for is already stored within ourselves.

Your body, heart and soul speak to you through sensations, feelings and emotions. It is your inner world that presents itself as a guide. Every moment lies an invitation to meet yourself and be open to the messages you receive.

During the training week, I assist Ilse and facilitate, among other things, a healing ceremony and a deepening yin yoga class to supplement the program. We take a journey through the body together, in deep relaxation so that space is created to feel what is going on inside you.

Born to English and Italian parents, Tiziana is multilingual and has experienced many different European cultures. After a career in commerce and administration, she began with 12 years of logistics in air freight, but her desire to help and care for others in need led her to qualify in child rearing as a youth worker with behavioral issues and gain experience as a live-in caregiver for the elderly. After moving to the south of Spain and living a sustainable life on a Finca where she grew ecological vegetables, made spelt bread, goat cheese and natural creams, she spent the next 12 years in Andalusia caring for vulnerable young teenagers facing conflict, rebooting them and giving them a new life. Through her work with the children and her holistic approach, using nutrition as medicine and exercise and relaxation therapies, she was able to really make a difference in their lives.

Tiziana is a versatile lady who is passionate about real food, travel and holistic wellness. She has a strong desire to create food inspired by her travels that can appeal to all. Her love of making things with her hands is reflected in her work as a vegetarian/vegan chef, where she uses her creativity and culinary skills to create healthy and delicious meals.

In addition to her work as a chef, Tiziana is also a certified yoga teacher and a sound massage specialist. She offers sound journeys and sound massages with Tibetan singing bowls and gong to help people achieve deep relaxation and rebalance their mind and body.

Tiziana is both the chef during this week, where she will make delicious dishes for us, and co-host and she will lead a wonderful meditation. She is affiliated with the Peter Hess Institute and has been giving sound healings and sound journeys for almost 20 years. We have been working together for 8 years and it is always incredibly nice to have her on the team.

The study section is divided into several modules.

Module 1: Overview – Yoga Nidra & History

Our Sound Chef Tiziana Santi will give a special meditation session.

A Sound Journey is a gentle yet powerful experience. Listen to the harmonious sounds of the singing bowls.

After a brief introduction on how Sound Vibration works in the body and setting intentions, the experience begins with each person lying or sitting in a comfortable position. It is a kind of meditation, where you can completely relax

The purpose of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, reset, ground, balance, center and connect with our “inner wisdom” by exploring self-inquiry and self-discovery. A Sound Bath experience is unique and each participant will experience different sensations, emotions, depending on how open they are to the experience.

BONUS 3: SILENT WALK WITH A SPECIAL SESSION AROUND BREATHING WITH QIGONG & MEDITATION

Walking meditation – silence walk

In the area you can take great walks. We are surrounded by this beautiful landscape of mountains overlooking a lake and the ocean. For anyone who wants to experience a breathtaking walk in peace, we are organizing a special walking meditation.

A walking meditation is a form of meditation in action. In walking meditation, we use the experience of walking as our focus. We become aware of our experience while walking and try to keep our awareness involved in the experience of walking. A walking meditation is an excellent way to develop your ability to bring awareness into our ordinary lives. During the walk, you experience everything around you very intensely. The colors, sounds, the sun and wind. It is a very special experience. During our walk, we will stop under these thousand-year-old olive trees and do a special qigong and breathing session.

BONUS 4: SACRED BREATHING CIRCLE

Connected breathing – rebirthing

If you’re familiar with breath work, you’ve probably heard of the conscious connected breath.

It has various names such as: conscious energy breathing (CEB), Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB), Rebirthing Breathwork and other names.

The predominant characteristic of Breathwork is simplicity. It starts with you lying down, relaxing and just breathing. It uses an easy-to-follow breathing technique called “conscious connected circular breathing” .

The process of long and careful attention to the circular breathing technique uncovers multiple layers of inhibitions and unconscious defense patterns that have developed from birth and throughout your life that have blocked your joy and aliveness. You can neutralize and integrate any surface simply by breathing through it, even if you maintain your present awareness and know you are safe.

It is a very special experience. We are going to have a special evening doing this together to beautiful music.

BONUS 5: HEALING CEREMONY

Step into the magical world of the healing ceremony facilitated through energy work during the meditation training. This ceremony is designed to strengthen your connection with yourself, to let the energy flow freely through your body again and to help you find your inner balance.

During the ceremony, we guide you on a journey to your core, your deepest essence. We combine shamanic, energetic, and body-oriented work. This ceremony will be a magical experience for your mind, body, and soul.

 

Location El Canuelo

Stay in a beautiful little mini village with stunning views of a lake and the sea

Cañuelo is an enchanting place with small, white houses and casitas in a picturesque hermitage. The grounds feature a large pool surrounded by bougainvilleas and birds, and offer breathtaking views. The rustic on-site bar adds to the charming atmosphere of this authentically Andalusian place.

The village of El Cañuelo is located high in the mountains overlooking the sea. The vacation homes with their terraces blend beautifully with the traditional village and offer an unobstructed view of the sea. During our stay, we have a choice of cottages with 1, 2, 4, 5 or 6 bedrooms. Each cottage has a terrace, living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Although the cottages are not luxurious, El Cañuelo is an authentic Andalusian experience you won’t want to miss. There is a small bar on site that we can use during our stay, and WIFI is available in the bar and on site.

Pool

The pool, locally called the “Mickey Mouse” because of its shape, is 7 x 7 meters with the two small “ears” one with a depth of 90 cm and the other about 15 cm. The large pool is 2 meters at its deepest point.

The Yoga Room

There is a beautiful, recently redecorated, spacious Yoga Shala. It has large windows with lots of light entering the room.

There are also several platforms/ terraces where we can do yoga outside if the weather permits.

We have several properties available. Houses are all different, room sizes vary.

The houses are not luxurious, but very authentic and truly Spanish. You have everything you need and you can enjoy beautiful views.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Travel

Tickets & transfers

The airport to fly to is Malaga Airport.

Many airlines fly to Malaga. For example, you can book your flights with KLM, Transavia, Ryanair and Vueling.

Arrival flight: you can book a flight arriving on the start morning (best arrival before 12:00 am) and arrange the joint transfer through us.

Return flight: you can fly back from about 3:30 p.m. if you want to go by shared transfer. On return there are often two shared transfers: 1 at noon (1:30 p.m. at the airport) and 1 around 2 p.m.

Shared transfer: Pick-up and drop-off from the airport is possible both with the shared transfer service (fixed time) and with a private cab. You can also be picked up or dropped off in downtown Malaga (plaza Marina). The shared transfer is 35 euros per person for a single transfer (70 euros for a return) when traveling with the rest of the group.

It is about 90 euros p.p. euros for a single transfer/taxi.

You can be picked up or taken to Malaga airport or to the center of Malaga (Plaza Marina).

The shared transfer departs on Saturday between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. from the airport to the finca.

The final time depends on participants’ flights; we try to schedule them so that as many participants as possible can take advantage of the shared transfer. (Several flights arrive in the morning between 8:30 a.m./11:00 a.m.)

On the last day, a shared transfer departs after brunch/lunch (12:00) aligned with late afternoon flights. If necessary, a second transfer will take place in the afternoon if several people take the evening flight back (around 2 p.m.).

We can really recommend booking a day trip to Malaga before or after. This is a super relaxing town near the beach. Many participants do this before or after. It is also possible to be picked up or dropped off in downtown Malaga.

OTHER DETAILS

Bring comfortable (sports) clothes and good athletic shoes or hiking boots.

A small backpack and water bottle/bottle is recommended.

Yoga mats, meditation cushions and yoga blankets are provided.

The pool is open. In the fall at least until early October.

A washing machine is available
